![]() We, as a sisterhood, aim to be a community that reflects the true diversity of the Church and to be a continual safe place for our sisters of color. We believe that Jesus welcomes all to Him and that we are to work both collectively as the Church and as individual believers to do the same without exception (Romans 15:7). We understand that silence strengthens racism and violence, and we wish to unequivocally voice that racial disparity is not ordained by the goodness of God but as a result of the sinfulness of mankind. ![]() Therefore, we acknowledge and grieve the systemic racial injustice that has been inflicted on people of color, especially Black people, historically and presently in our nation. We recognize that when these truths are not lived out in our communities and society that people groups suffer the effects of hate often in the form of racism and xenophobia. We believe that all those who have acknowledged Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord have been adopted into the family of Christ, where there is no hierarchy, as all are equal under Christ (Gal 2:28-29). We believe that all humans have been created in the image of God (Gen 1:27) and are loved equally by Him as His children (Acts 17:26, 29).
